SKIN-NEEDLING

Skin-needling is a popular collagen induction therapy used to improve the firmness and elasticity of the skin. Other benefits include softening the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and scars, as well as reducing hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone.

After the skin is numbed, a device using medical-grade, sterile needles create controlled micro-injuries on the skin's surface. These micro-injuries stimulate the skin’s natural healing process, triggering the production of collagen and elastin - the proteins responsible for maintaining overall skin health.

NCTF HA boost is an unique anti-ageing, poly-revitalising complex that nourishes the epidermis by providing the essential ingredients to create an optimal environment for fibroblasts to perform their role in the production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid.

It is applied topically prior to skin-needling. Three sessions are recommended to improve skin quality. Additional sessions can be used to maintain the result.

Treatment takes around 45 minutes (allow an extra 30 minutes before for topical anaesthetic cream to take effect if required).

Results are progressive and new collagen production will start to be seen at 3 months and will continue to increase for up to 12 months. We recommend an initial 3 treatment sessions, 4 weeks apart. Followed by a regular maintenance session every 6 months.
