COLLAGEN INDUCTION THERAPY

Collagen is a protein that gives skin structure and supports the functions of elastin and hyaluronic acid. Collagen induction therapy help revitalise collagen production and restore your skin’s deep underlying structure. A healthy supply of collagen makes for a more youthful-looking complexion.

Collagen stimulators are made with biocompatible material called Poly-L-Lactic Acid (PLLA) and are precisely injected to areas of volume loss. PLLA microparticles act as a scaffold and provide a structure for your own collagen to grow. Rebuilt collagen strands gradually restore facial volume and diminish deep wrinkles over time.

Treatment takes around 45 minutes.

Results are progressive with subtle enhancements from 3 months. We recommend an initial 2-3 treatment sessions, 4-6 weeks apart. Followed by a maintenance session annually. Results may last for up to 2 years.

• Apply a cold compress gently to the treated area
• Rule of 5s - massage treated areas for 5 minutes, 5 times a day and for 5 days
• Avoid oil-based make-up, AHAs, retinols for 24 hours
• Avoid excessive sun exposure, heated spas and saunas for 72 hours
• Avoid ibuprofen, aspirin and vitamin E for 5 days
• Avoid waxing, IPL, dermabrasion, peels and skin-needling for 2 weeks
